Reentry Support Program

Helping Individuals Return Home With Hope, Stability, and Support

Reentry is more than just coming home—it is the critical window where a person either finds a pathway to purpose or faces the overwhelming barriers of isolation, lack of resources, and discouragement. At Stronger Together Outreach, we exist to walk alongside individuals during this pivotal season. We believe that every person deserves the opportunity to rebuild, grow, and move forward with dignity.

Our leadership brings foundational, hands-on experience guiding individuals through critical life transitions in environments like the West Tennessee State Penitentiary and Safe Harbor Recovery. Supported by a dedicated team currently in training to provide the highest level of compassionate care, we understand that people need more than a second chance. They need structure, encouragement, and people who are willing to listen.

Our program helps individuals build a stronger foundation as they return to their families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and communities.

Who We Serve

We stand beside individuals across Tipton, Gibson, Madison, Lauderdale, Davidson, and Shelby counties (and beyond, as opportunities grow) who are transitioning back into the community. Our program is built for those who are:

  • Preparing for Release: Currently incarcerated but actively planning their next steps.

  • Recently Returned Home: Navigating the critical first months after release from jail or prison.

  • Seeking Stability: Actively looking for mentorship, life skills development, and resource connection to break down barriers to success.

Our Core Values

We do not judge people by their past; we help them see that their future can still be meaningful. Our approach is built on five pillars:

  • Dignity: Every person deserves to be treated with respect, no matter where they have been.

  • Accountability: Real change requires honesty, responsibility, and a willingness to make better choices.

  • Mentorship: Supportive relationships keep individuals encouraged, focused, and connected.

  • Stability: Access to basic needs and practical guidance is required to rebuild successfully.

  • Hope: Providing the strength to keep going, even when the road is difficult.

Our Services & Goals

To help individuals move from survival to stability, our comprehensive approach delivers practical, respectful, and consistent support through:

  • Mentorship & Encouragement: We provide one-on-one and group support to help participants set goals, build self-worth, and navigate difficult seasons with someone who truly cares and listens.

  • Life Skills Development: We equip individuals with the practical tools needed to live responsibly, focusing on healthy decision-making, conflict resolution, financial awareness, and job readiness.

  • Resource Connection & Navigation: Coming home can be overwhelming. We bridge the gap between individuals and essential community services, guiding them toward employment support, food and clothing assistance, housing resources, and identification documents.

  • Community Stabilization: We help participants create realistic reentry plans, establish healthy daily routines, and reconnect with their families and neighborhoods safely.

Why This Program Matters

Reentry affects the entire community. When individuals return home without support, the lack of stability often leads to frustration and repeated setbacks. But when people receive guidance and practical help, they have a real chance to rebuild their lives.

By investing in capacity building and proactive mentorship, Stronger Together Outreach reduces repeated incarceration, restores families, and builds safer, stronger communities in West Tennessee. When you partner with us or fund this mission, you are not just supporting a program—you are becoming a difference-maker in someone's most critical season of life.
